images - scanning

As part of a design project, magazine article or book we can scan documents and artwork at varying resolution and size. Projects such as our book 'The Printmaker's Cat' required numerous scans (in black & white and colour) of highly detailed wood engravings, etchings, woodblock, linocuts and screenprints.

For books such as 'Light Through Glass', 'Coulter's Countryside' and 'Harry Becker's Suffolk', there was a requirement for accurate scanning of colour transparencies, while our July 2014 book 'Taking Flight' involved the scanning of more than 180 coloured sketchbook pages by bird artist Michael Warren for full-size reproduction on uncoated paper.
