BARRIE MORRIS: THE MORRIS BOOK OF BRITISH BIRDS. AVAILABLE NOW. This new Norfolk-made book features the artist's highly individual take on British bird species, including owls, waders, wildfowl and more. With a Foreword by Bill Oddie, the collection of Barrie's paintings plus accompanying descriptions brings with it elements of folklore, local history and natural history. Many of the birds are set against familiar Norfolk landmarks, such as the old lifeboat house in the background of the Blakeney Oyster-catcher. This book, printed in Norfolk and published by the Red Dot Gallery in Holt was produced with a little help from Mascot Media and we are making it available for direct online sale. Hardback, with 64 pages on heavyweight paper in a very limited edition, the book was launched in Holt on 12 November and can now be bought from us.
