Digital photography forms an important part of the Mascot Media service. The company’s growing picture library is particularly strong in East Anglian images, ranging from windmills and waterways to birds and beaches. The latest 36.3 megapixel Nikon digital SLR camera and matching lenses are used to achieve excellent image quality and optimum image size. We have a studio lighting rig for ceramics and other small objects. We have experience in photographing as well as scanning artwork for our books and for third-party publications.

For book, magazine, catalogue or website illustration, we can provide imaginative, high-resolution images.

As part of a design project, magazine article or book we can scan documents and artwork at varying resolution and size.

As part of the design and production process, we handle a wide variety of images that need varying amounts of on-screen treatment before publication. Working largely in Adobe Photoshop, we can fix blemishes, adjust colour, composition and focus, optimise resolution for printing and use creative effects such as cut-outs, drop shadows etc.

Watch this page for more Mascot Media images available for third-party use. We specialise in wildlife, rural landscapes, the seaside, windmills and, of course, the Norfolk Broads.
